Why would you shoot colorful leaves & flowers in black and white?  I think these patterns turned out well although I'd like better detail.

My composition exercise now is still life.  Whoa!  Shapes, textures, arrangement, background, light.  Took at least 50 exposures to get one even remotely acceptable.  Now have to get out my photo history books and look at examples.
